We do not audit our own work — independence forbids it, and we say so plainly. What we do is prepare each entity for examination by independent auditors, coordinate the engagement, and resolve queries so that the audit reaches a clean and timely conclusion. Where assurance short of a full audit is appropriate, we arrange and support it.
